"A couple of weeks ago,
gaminggal and I were out on a walk and we saw this picture frame leaning against someone's garbage can. It looked pretty cool. I was just a square frame with nine different colored squares inside it. So it sat in our gaming room for about a week til I was looking over at it and got this weird idea to make it into a some sort of fanart of one of our favorite shows or games. I've been wanting to try minimalist versions of stuff for a while. After bringing the idea up to the GF, she was all for it and we settled on Steven Universe.
Over the past week or so I've been slowly finishing ideas for each square. Now that I have nine done, I can go start planning how I'll cut out some stencils to get these images onto the old frame to give it a new life.
Even though I've made what I need for this project, I don't really want to be done with doing vector stuff like this. If anyone has any ideas or anything, just shoot me a note and I would be happy to give it a go."
