Well here we are, the first drawing continuing the Pinky & Violet story since July of 2014! as well as the first digitally drawn submission into the story! I hesitate to fully call it Brave Little Toaster art though even though the story is related because just looking at it at face value you wouldn't even know.
Luckily I have a memory of iron when it comes to this story and what I had in mind for the future releases of the story. The last picture done 2 years ago was never meant to be just a funny little 'oh look Zed got his commupits but instead the beginning of a new chapter in Zed's character arc, focusing a little in on him in the time where Pinky is gone from the picture.
Here we finally see Zed experiencing first hand the feeling of being bullied. The same treatment he put poor disabled Pinky through the last few years of her life. Though devoted fans will remember the comic "Misguided Wisdom" and see that Zed's actions were more a result of miss-interpreted advice of self-defense for surviving in the car eat car world of the BLT universe.
We see just how much of a tough guy facade Zed had been putting on the majority of his young life.
Will this new first hand experience make Zed question the person he's been being all these years? Is it too late for it to even matter anyway? We'll have to find out.

Weeeell... Don't feel too good, now does it, son? No snooty smugness here; I dealt with bullying/harassing shit aaaaaaalll the time, all through school and even now on occasion into adulthood. Some people just seem to have that "BULLY ME" aura; apparently I had it STRONG back then. ._. Ain't no fun, I tell ya whut. Makes ya think when it comes back on ya. *pat pats le Zed :c* I tell you, misguided info is one of the worst things you can give out.
Oh wow!! You matched the old work perfectly and I'm more than just a little excited to see where this goes!! OH btw the Shelley1 one comment is spam. But I'm overjoyed to see that after 3 years we're back to the old series! It's a very heartwarming little tale and it shows off your writing ability with your characters! I can't wait to see what ideas you've been sitting on for all this time, and I like how you integrated a malfunction with headlights as him crying. You'll have to forgive me a somewhat cruel chuckle at that, but it's kind of a funny disconnect to imagine everyone inside is happy as can be and just like "Hey where'd the lights go?" all the while he's down there having an emotional collapse. I can't wait to see what else you do man! And congrats on this!
Hello Juicy. : 3 I thought you'd be happy to see me go back to Brave Little Toaster.. hopefully this keeps going for awhile. Oh I matched it alright, except it's going to be even better then ever now that it's digital. Say good by to strange angles, dead expressions, and weird deformed things.. now with digital all can be fixes. X3 It kinda struck me when I drew... a certain... Pinky picture for you.. how she looked better then almost all the times I drew her with pencil and paper.

Thanks, yeah I was hoping you'd be. I'm hoping to finish off the Pinky story proper finally. After all I can't ever make my heart-tugging Pinky & Violet story overview music video I have planned if I never finish the story can I! But I'm also hoping to do other things while I've got an obsession up. Maybe finally finish poor neglected Ol' Green's one off picture. Maybe make that other side-story comic you saw started in my drawing box.. you know the one about the Blender at Elmo St. Peter's? That's a kick ass story in it's own right I'll tell you right now.. considering the whole story is stuck up in my head already. What would be really awesome is if I could actually make that "Like we never loved at all" music video for Callie... GOD I wish I could make this it's so epic and sad. x.x But let's not get our hopes TOO high..
Lol I agree, that crazy disconnect is pretty well.. crazy. The girls are all jamming to Cyndi Lauper while Zedy's self-esteem is crumbling to the pavement. I've kinda wondered if they would have been able to tell in other physical ways that he was upset... like maybe his engine would stumble a bit..
Lol I'm just realizing, this comic would probably piss off die-hard Chevy fans. A Ford Mustang making a Camaro cry like a little girl? I mean come on. XD

Yeah, lets hope, because yeah I would like to put my writing talents back to work. Whatever talent there is to work, almost all of the story has been premeditated in my head in my head since I last worked on the story. It's just the hard part, putting it all on paper so people outside my head can see it. XD My spine? Oh I'd say it's doing about as good as your childhood memories are doing.. : P Makes me wonder what you'd do if I ever actually put that picture up to the public.. break my neck?

XD The one where the Magnet has a chosen car that she forces to be her boyfriend... that HAS to be drawn.. it's so funny not to be. But yeah I actually really want to make that Blender comic too because I don't remember if I told you when you saw it in my box. But I was actually going to have Quadruped in there, and he's going to be fully voiced and everything and lol this might be controversial in the fandom.. but actually portray him as the badguy in the story.. like a cruel warden of the shop.
