Hey guys, I'm back and it another review for the week. Been a heavy work week as well.
Let's get to it! Time for something a little more pallet relaxing and earthy.
CLE Habano 11x18
Wrapper: Habano
Binder: Honduran
Filler: Honduran
Pre-Light/Construction:
From first glance at the box and the color Orange as suggested by Chad a couple of weeks prior to the review month since I took a break during May. There was something very welcoming to the stick in appearance and feel. From the band to the wrapper, it feel lively and ready to burn. Firm and a rough to the touch. The seems were present while the veins remained a bit neutral. The scent was very cedary. Let's light it up!
The Burn Part 1:
The first few puffs were vibrant in pepper notes. Not too sharp, but just enough for a gentle kick.
The draw was nice. A bit snug, but loosened itself out for more smoke coming out. A bit of a citrus note came to follow. More like a light orange to blend. Some cedar came in soon after to blend in with the pepper. Fruit and spicy combo is always good to start out with. Thus ends the first 3rd.
The Burn Part 2:
As the draw went down, a bit more pepper built up into the body. Still at a level that very many would want. The idea of natural cedar and pepper notes would blend in at the right note to make a great stick. More natural tobacco notes started to flair up behind the cedar notes. It was pretty much to the point of the stick where you realize, this is a warm hearted stick for any bright and shiny day.Soon the 2nd 3rd was done.
The Burn Final:
As the nearing of the end, the stick became a little spongey and soft. More of a roasty nut note came to pass as it was nearing. In the end, the finishing notes to the race was the cedar with the pepper right behind. I put it out with a smile and a sigh. A great edition for the review month.
Verdict:
I can honestly say this is probably my favorite so far of this month's review batch. The simplistic nature and taste are enough to warm anyone's pallet. IF you see these, get yourself a few one them. You won't regret.
Next Week: Azabache
See you next week!
