
Another dinosaur piece for my friend's blog. This is my interpretation of Coeluroides largus, a two-meter theropod from the Lameta formation, known largely from scattered vertebrae. We think it was some kind of ceratosaur, probably a Noasaurid, but beyond that we have no idea. I based this reconstruction mostly off of Masiakasaurus.
Also featured are Sanjeh, a big-ish snake that shared its environment, and a hot newcomer on the Late-Cretaceous scene, grass!
