Actually I can get just as fine of lines with watercolor if I have a good saturation and dry surface.
All my paintings these days tend to be large format. This icon was just 3 or 4 inches square...pretty big for just an icon. My last few non-icon type paintings have been 12 inches by 15 inches. Going to attempt a 20 by 30 inch painting soon.
