satAM: time for cake

there was a fad on twitter like a week ago where people made fake screenshots of their characters in sonicX and stuff, i looooove that stuff so i wanted to give it a try! of course, satAM is still may fave sonic cartoon, so i drew athena meeting sally and bunnie :D she's very starstruck meeting a princess for the first time!

This is really nice work :) Also, they really should consider rebooting SatAM, especially considering the abundance of source material in the Archie comics 'c'

Okay two things: That's adorable, and this is really well-done. Damn near looks legit (I say damn near only cuz I know better than to think your character was in the original show.) So I mean. Fricken bravo 8D Way to go!

SatAM was always better than Sonic X anyway, you chose well :3c

I do also find amusement the other day Naoto Oshima tweeted an image of SatAM

i did like sonic x too, but satAM was what really got me into sonic proper (along with the archie comics) so it was an obvious choice for me lol

I wanted to like X, but a lot of aspects couldn't hook me like the older cartoons did... it even made me better appreciate Underground if some kind soul edited out the singing segments

i agree athena's design does not jive with the simplicity of satAM lol but i did the best i could to make her fit (she'd probably fit better in sonic X, which i might also try doing a mock screenshot for sometime)
