Because this is Furry-Territory.
Anyhow "CorgiCorgiW" over on Twitter commissioned a "Nier: Automata" piece from me and I immediately used the commission money to buy the game. One, because it looked fun and two, I figured it would give me a better grasp of the subject material. That's using your noggin'! I did end up loving the game, very witty narrative that played with story structure in a wonderful way.
