Doodle of Spea and her friend (and maybe other friends too.) She wants to help but she always end up making things worst. Spea should really shut up, listen and not say anything. But she's really not sure. I think some people are just not listener material. -points at Spea- Spea feels sorry, she really want to help but probably not sure when to fix and when not to fix.
Bad kitty. Shush.
So I read 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus' many years ago. The book said man likes to fix things and not just listen quietly when a woman talk to them. I guess that applies to some women too.

Knowing when to give advice and when to listen is hard to tell.... If it's a new problem, let them vet and talk, but if it's the third or so time, THEN advice is particularly a good thing. Atleast, that's what I do. OR OR, when the actually came to me for help. You can also ask, 'Do you want some advice?' But, that's me. I'm known as 'BLUNT'! XDD
Yeah I have the same problem, I always try and solve problems or at least talk the friend with the issue through to their own conclusions. BUT when I'm not sure if the person talking wants advice, before I say anything I ask "So... would it be more helpful for me to hug you or give you advice or both??" But then again, my friends know me well enough most of the time that they don't come to me unless they want help, or preface it with "I just really need to get this off my chest" so I know not to blather on about ways to fix a problem.
