The drone had flown off in search of other people to sting leaving Janet to wonder what had happened to her. Then she felt an odd sensation on her neck, forehead, toes and the sides of her waist. What she first gave her a hint of this was her fingers as she saw her nails shift in color to a bright green, then watched as the skin around them took the same color and fused into them as similar patches began to grow on her skin. At the same time she felt a building pressure in her shoes which eventually burst as two primary claws burst forth, each encased in a chitinous shell as her other toes were absorbed.
