Here's another piece initially borne a as quick sketch during a conversation. It was supposed to be a joke, but I used it as practice for better shading, so constructive criticism is encouraged.

Question time! So the initial text was BLK exclaiming that he didn't think the room could take much more, and Draco said he though I would burst first, but Draco asked me to swap the text. I'm not a fan of bursting art either and was just insinuating as a joke. Given that do you prefer characters popping, or bursting out of confined spaces?

Honestly, I'm, well...immensely terrified of popping; I know I don't comment on your stuff, but, I do think you have a really cute, and cartoony art-style. I've kinda been watching your work in secret, I suppose, but, that's mostly because I was nervous. <w<; All the same, popping is one my deepest phobias, and is capable of mentally bringing me to my knees. It just...it's a little hard to explain, and surreal, but, put simply, it horrifies, and haunts me worse than anything else ever has. ;w;
D'awww, thank you, Black--that's really kind of you to say. ;w; Popping is one of those things that has been utterly terrifying, and upsetting to me for years, now. I feel as if it's one of those phobias that won't be going away for a while, but, I'm thankful that I have friends to help me dust myself off after seeing a scare. And aww, well...I feel kind of bad for being so shy, so I apologize all the same. I had come across you through my adopted big brother, since he had faved some of your art. >w< I really like your character design!

For me and popping, Balloooogabuu just REALLY don't like sharp objects. I don't pop when poked by them, but something about that sharp pain from the doctor's syringe makes me go BALLISTIC! DX
...Other then that, popping is sometimes fun. It just kind of happens at times. It suuuure helps that my body reforms. It's an emotional release or punchline to a sequence. "Ca-thar-sis", I think it's called? Fancy word. Never really thought about how I feel about property damage...

Hehe thanks, I at least practice art every night now, so I'll consider it a good polishing. I'll attribute the better shading to two things; one I learned how to do masking layers in Sketchbook Pro, and second someone told me (can't remember who, might have been you) to not just use a darker shade of the same color for shadows. That helped a lot.
