Style testing stuff a bit with something a bit more unusual: a random mantis character design that came out of a sketching session where I tried to get a grip on insectoids. Those are usually tough to draw properly, and have all sorts of weird quirks in their anatomy that makes it hard to translate them into an appealing character design, but that made it all the more fun to try some different things.

This is beautiful! She looks super slick, graceful as heck, and quite dangerous! I especially like how, despite being based on an insect, she looks very intelligent. The type of warrior that is super professional and even artistic in how she wields her weapon. I hope you draw more bug folks like this! (And assuming female, as this looks and feels very feminine)
