Ok... I started this picture long time ago, I tried to refine it a bit. But I chose to NOT color it mostly due feeling I could further mess-up a picture that I think started as a nice idea. So enjoy it B/W xD

It is a fan-art directly took from the first book of "Worldwar" series. It feature a race of reptilian aliens invading earth during the middle of Second World War.
As you may expect, human nations put aside the main conflict to focus on the invasion.
It is quite interesting that the series follow MULTIPLE point-of-views including humans of different nations and also the point-of-view of multiple aliens (they're known as "The Race").

This is a quite powerful scene in the first book: the diplomatic meeting between Atvar (leader of the Invasion fleet, on the left) with none else than Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Molotov. (yep: the series incude lots of historical characters).
Here in particular we have a furious Atvar in front of a defiant Molotov (especially once he learned how the Soviets killed their "former emperor", the Czar. The Aliens are an imperialist race with religious worshipping for the emperor). And Molotov finally giving a "Nyet" to Atvar demand of surrender.

It is quite significant that Molotov spoke for most of the humankind here (previously Atvar met the Nazi negotiation Ribbentrop, but he was so sick of space-travel that the meeting appears to have been meaningless).
