Hoo-wee darlin' that is an OLD background. At least AJ is still super cute! I actually still use this picture while I'm coloring anything current with AJ, just to make sure I keep my pallets consistent! I think her colors here are spot on. Also I had vectorized her cutie mark and was experimenting with laying that over my linework in order to keep cutie marks from looking scribbled on. I still use that trick even now! I have a whole folder dedicated to cutie marks in my art directory. I draw them out super big and then place them as needed in my pictures! It's super handy!
