- was attacked (betrayed) by a lucario (a former friend) during evolution; his evolution was stopped and the flash cannon attack blinded him
- taller ears, longer & fuller aura sensor things, longer snout, larger body and ability to "see" using aura detection due to halted evolution; still technically a riolu
- physically unable to evolve
- ties his Aura Sniffers back bc theyre big & in the way
- stronger sense of smell & hearing due to blindness

- talkative
- friendly but very slow to develop true friendships
- physically tougher than he looks but emotionally sensitive
