Apart from a few recent minor alterations, this is from 2008, back when I drew with the mouse and very laboriously across extended periods. I was trying to limit the colors and create a false impression of solid ink-laying. I cannot draw like that naturally, so I must fixate on things longer than usual. I found over time that people tended to appreciate the smeary-colored things better, and that I could pull that off more consistently, and I have less time now than I did then, so I gave up trying to do this sort of thing!
