Another redo of an old sketch I had of a anthro hippogryph character named Tree Singer. She's half barn owl, half horse and for some reason I never got around to really doing more with her. So... I decided to give her a shot again.

Originally, I was going to have it that she was purple/blue in coloring but then decided against it and just went for as close to the "natural" markings as I could. I may or may not change that... I'll probably tweak her markings in future renderings too. I just noticed now that her grey ones seem a little washy. Oops!

I think from now on too, I'll be drawing her sans any outfits of any kind. I don't know why, but after staring at this...I find I don't like the idea of clothing on Tree Singer. Go figure.

Needless to say, I'm definitely going to be drawing more of her in the future. :3
