I had to admit defeat.
I was bested by the hat, met my match and found myself not the better creature, BUT I cheated and made it work.

I haven't done a realistic wolf drawing like this in years. I really enjoyed it. I even went back to the way I used to do my graphite drawings and pulled out the blending stub. I really enjoyed doing this. Wouldn't mind doing more.

Lol, I always get confused by the comments, watches and fav's and stuff because they never seem to reflect what I see in my stuff. Like I think this turned out -really- nice, but most people are like "Meh, it's cool." XD
C'est la vie. I try not to let the number of replys and stuff represent the worth of my work. I get so depressed when I do, good god.
But thank you so much! I was really surprised with the eyes because they were so simple yet turned out so powerful! And that damned hat! Bajezuz, I'm just glad it looks good to others. I don't think I'll take a pattern like that on like that ever again. x.x

Aww, thank you, I really appreciate that, that's very sweet. Reading that Art and Fear book again has helped me to a degree to find myself a bit more in my work. I know I have the skill, so it's about time I used it. People take notice of hard work and prolificness. I think as I keep pushing myself and doing my absolute best with each piece I will be able to earn my place in the community.
