Ruby, The Inflatiknight:
HP: 1500
Phases: 3
Before you step into the arena, Equip your strongest dart blaster; Her armor renders most shots useless, unless they can pierce armor. If you can get the Titanium Bat upgrade, you'll be able to fight her toe to toe a lot easier.
Phase 1: In the first phase, she mainly attacks aerially, with Armadyl Godsword slashes. Unless you have plastic armor equipped, each hit WILL cause the inflatable status effect, which will drastically lower your power, and stop you from using your blaster for a bit. Full inflatablization will practically shut you down!
Luckily, her first phase is easily parried, and as such, leaves her open to some punishment. Use the Titan bat if you need to make room.
PHASE 2:
In phase two, she becomes a bit faster, and starts throwing bolts of magic, along with uppercuts. It is dangerous to go airborne, especially if you get knocked into the air, via the floor, or an uppercut. As pictured, the main strategy is keeping your range. While you'll probably be unable to use your blaster, due to inflatablization, knocking her away gives you time to breathe.
Let her come to you, Bop, prepare, Repeat.
PHASE 3:
Phase 3 is where the fun really begins. At the start, she throws off a nearly undodgable Inflatablization spell, which not only causes the full inflatable status effect, but traps your character in an inflatable ball! Luckily, this only lasts for 1 minute, after which, she is unable to cause the status for the rest of the battle, focusing on rushing you down.
during the Minute of ball trapping, KEEP IN THE CENTER. if you are knocked off the castle, it is an instant KO. And since Ruby is up close and personal, she will Practically hit you out of the stage, like a baseball.
Her attacks become very difficult to parry, and when she hits you into the Air, you need to quickly get her to back off, to land again.
Once you deplete the last of her HP, she won't have a last stand attack, you'll just see her pop into many, many, SATISFYING pieces!
REWARD: While Ruby is an optional boss, her Reward of 1,000 Credits, and the Schematic of the Inflatable Bop Bat is quite nice. The Bop bat can help wrangle in enemies for easy capture, due to the innate inflatablization effect, and 1,000 credits is always nice for buying the next upgrade.

Hehahah, that's pretty great. :P I guess this would be the first phase of the battle. One thing they missed in the guide is you can equip a couple status resisant things, but it's not something you wanna rely on, so much as it'll supplement getting inflatablization cured up a bit faster. Some people say the IceFrog is good, but I don't buy it. Short range freeze weapon would be too hard. Phase 1 MAYBE, but not the other two.
But yeah! Hehahah. |D
