First of all - Holy shit guys.
I posted that tips jar link on my Userpage earlier today not thinking very much of it, and then forgot about it for a little while. Then I was sitting here just making funny noises with my belly button, and browsing online when I noticed I had some tips. Quite a few in fact! I wanted to let you all know that I'm really touched by your generosity, and so I gave this page the push it needed to be done tonight.
Thank you so much. I hope that you'll continue to enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it.

is still big-ol' Grant... just with a small (maybe not that small) difference... but still....
when you love somebody you accept the whole pack.... not just the things you like....
also some defects that may come to bother from time to time... but in the end you learn to accept them as part of that special someone you love......

Now if you were in this guys position, what would you REALLY do. Personally I think he's made up his mind already... he just needs to come to terms with it. You can kinda see it in his expression... as scared shit-less as it still is... Plus the realization of losing Grant is starting to push it's way to the front of his mind now.
I have to say, Grant's facial expressions are really spot-on, and they have been these past couple of pages. You're doing quite a fine job with conveying how each of characters seem to feel. Makes for a nice comic. I've been hooked since page one. I look forward to the next page :D

It's natural to see Mr. Nose react this way, despite he's been very calm with Grant (human form) before this. I suppose once he got over the shock he will start 'eating' Grant for good ^^

This is a good comic! Who wouldn't tip you if they could? Besides, I'm glad it didn't just become another one of those "plot-devices to include sex" comics. Instead, it's more of a sweet little comic about one werewolf who's just trying to find his way through life, and hopefully love.
I hope Randy stays. He should be so lucky as to know someone like Grant.

i think just looking at it reasonably, we can already predict a good ending.
i mean, maybe i'm looking at it too deeply, but let's consider: the end of pg14 and the beginning of pg15.

The way Grant muses about it, it sounds more like, "You were difficult, but in the end, I still got you." The scent doesn't lie. etc.,

This really **is** a profound question for everyone...
I mean, I think many of us would like to be comfortable saying "Of course we'd learn to love a monster," and perhaps some of us say so because of ulterior/sexy motives , but in the end, I dunno...I can see instances in my life when I've seen someone in what appears to be a "monstrous" light...and it's not easy to make a choice. I mean, in such a situation as meeting a werewolf, our answers are out of touch and biased...but with the metaphorical werewolves we might deal with every day...I guess I should be ashamed, but I know I'm much less charitable than I'd like to admit. And I know that others have been much less charitable with me.

I just realized what I like so much about this comic so far- the fact that there hasn't been any porn/ sex (at least, shown). My motivation for checking for new pages has shifted from hoping to see some good ol' sex, to wondering WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT OMFG and really enjoying the characters/ dialogue.
There is so much going on here it makes my head spin. Modern werewolf, sexual innuendo, romance, and a heart warming all around cool guy at the center of it all. That's leaving out the amazing art filled with equal parts cute, hot, and stylistic win.

Yay an intriguing plot mixed with your usually excellent artwork makes the ideal formula for a great return and it`s great to see you posting again and continuing with your comic.

Yes! I think I'd pretty much act like that, or just not talk and nod slowly. It'd be really fuckin' hard to get use to. Like, suddenly your 'favorite guy' Is a big huge Were-thing and it's like, what the fuck man. So yeah. I'm guessing he either stays and tries to handle it or leaves and comes back.
Oh, crap. I just remembered something from way back about Grant, how he'd had something terrible happen in his past; I think it was back when Grant was posted on "that other site". Now I've got a bad feeling about how this story might be about to turn.
And regarding Grant merch: dammit, man, you've done a half-dozen pics of him that'd make awesome t-shirts, at least, and you weren't even trying!

This is by far one of my favorite pages of you comic! I don't know but the panel where Grants says "I'll understand if you can't, but I hope you'll stay." and the four previous ones say a lot! the faces, the eyes... everything! A lot of feelings! Like he'd cry if he leaves!
So I've for the most part fallen out of comicbooks, but if you put this into your own I would sooo be wrapped up in it. I have to say, It think this is honestly one of the best things I've seen out of you to this very date. I've already mentioned them to North. Great job and I look forward to reading more. =)

This and the previous page are definetely were-Grant at his most handsome & adorable.
After the initial shock, I'd personally wanna try rubbing a werewolf belly like Grant's. I hope Randy gets into that habbit if he can handle Grant's lycanthropy, which I have no doubt you'll expand upon as a relationship issue for a while yet.

Well, I kind of have to answer at three different levels.
In the big picture? It really doesn't matter at all. The story is compelling, the characters are engaging, the art is, as usual, excellent. The actual 'bits' are hardly the main subject and really - how they look shouldn't really affect the story at all.
In the slightly more close up picture? The story has a strong sexual theme to it, one that is specifially focussed on what one assumes is the highly unusual situation of a normal human discovering that the guy he may be falling in love with isn't *entirely* human, but has at least some of the traits of a wolf. (Sidenote, if I hadn't seen in page 9 that Gran in wolf form has a tail, I pobably would have asked about that first... because I think the tail is a HUGE part of being a werewolf).
Since it IS a sexual story and with the fur, head and tail out of the way - the obvious next place to turn ones attention to, in terms of anatomy, is... well, I'm sure you know where I'm going. :) You yourself kind of drew attention to the fact that it's different in wolf form in the previous page when Grant says 'It's a big bigger now, you know...' which given the events of the previous panels, I would find hard to interpret as merely, "I'm getting hard" but rather that he was bragging about something that happens because of the change. :)
In a story like this - the part that makes it different (as opposed to say two gay guys in love and finding out that one of them is an assassin with the CIA) is that the fact that one of them is a werewolf means one of them is *very* different. My question is essentially 'how different' and 'where's the line' for Grant's lover.
Compare it to the sitution Hank McCoy (the Beast from X-Men) ran into after the third mutation turned him into a anthro-cat/lion.. his girlfriend Trish dumped him because she was afraid people would think she was into 'bestiality'. Obviously not true, but it's certainly an issue that might come up... and in this case, if Grant's genitals WERE more canine than human - that might indeed cause problems. Or not. It might show that Grant's lover is exceptionally openminded about the entire thing. Or it might come back later to trip them up. (Depends on where you're planning to go with this.) The whole 'I'm alone because of what I am' theme is central to most lycanthropy stories.
In the personal picture, I happen to like drawing anthrios more animalistic because it enhances the sense of 'not human' - but that's entirely my preference and in no way implies other choices are wrong or unattractive. I think your illustrations are exceptionally enjoyable on their own merit. BUT... since I have a preference, it's not THAT bizarre to wonder. :) Again, if this had been an entirely non-sexual story, I wouldn't have asked at all.
Finally, the comment was, really, meant in jest. I thought it would be funny. Clearly, I was wrong. If I've offended, I do apologise. I sometimes forget that just because someone else has an interest in werewolves, it doesn't mean we actually have anything in common. That being said, I really do like your comic so far and Grant is a very nice lookiing werewolf.
Anyway, yeah, I do tend to over analyse this stuff too much. But you did ask. :)

Grant's dick is still shaped pretty much the same in either form, it just scales up slightly to stay proportionate with his body when he changes.

I've been into lycanthropy since i was like 8 - I had a dream in which I was telling my best friend that I couldn't see him anymore and when he asked me why - I did pretty much what Grant did to Randy (well, without the sexual aspects of course... I WAS only 8 :)
I've studied the mythology of it - I have a huge library on the subject - and I'm really tired of the 'Oh - I'm a werewolf and I'm so alone and everyone hates me' theme and the 'I'm not evil but I have to be evil because I'm a werewolf' theme. That's why I really like this story, and the art's none too shabby either. :)
Looking forward to the rest of the story.
