Trico is approx 16" tall and 26" long from nose to back legs. His face, legs, ears and horns were all sculpted, molded and cast by me. His face and legs are cast resin, his horn clear tinted resin, and his ears are airbrushed silicone for a realistic fleshy look. His body has a wire structure with foam padding, covered in approx 2000 (real) individually trimmed, painted and glued feathers. Trico's belly is made of airbrushed felt. His nose and legs are painted in acrylics, and his face, tail and ears are furred with airbrushed faux fur. His tail is fully posable but the rest of him is not.

Wow, I never thought I'd be finishing this guy and posting him online. He must have taken upwards of 400+ hours, my biggest project to date. I don't think I knew what I had gotten myself into when I said I would be making Trico.
As a character this guy means so much to me. The second I saw the first trailer release for TLG, it took my breath away. I waited just like so many others, dreaming of this game. When I played it, I instantly fell in love with Trico and his design, and knew I had to make him. Because he was so realistic, I knew that making him a plush would not do him justice, so I decided he would be my first art doll. I learnt so much from this project, from molding, casting, painting and furring. I hope you all enjoy him! And please share with anyone who loves Trico or The Last Guardian.

Oh my gosh, this is incredible! Holygeez. The differently crafted parts fit together seamlessly, and his face is just dead on. Man, seriously, fantastic work! I would totally suggest snapping a few pictures of him outside somewhere pretty, and post 'em to every The Last Guardian fan spot you can find. It'd pull peeps to your page like flies to honey, and lemme tell ya, that attention would be well deserved!
