Yeah there's not much you can do to redesign Buddy without making him not look like himself anymore rofl. He looks so cute and happy though! And his little scarf is actually pretty adorable ^.^ Omg... Negs being responsible for mutating him makes so much sense! I can't believe I didn't think of that!! Darkwing does it on accident in his world so Negaduck does it on purpose in his. Makes perfect sense!! XD I always imagined he was trying to save the water after it was contaminated rather than contaminating it himself just to make money but throwing Negaduck into the whole scenario makes it even better! He's just an all around good and honest guy ;)

I just seemed to fit SO fucking well when I thought about it, like yessss, Negaduck's intent was to kill, and pushing Buddy into the vat was an attempt to kill him that didn't necessarily stick. Buddy just wanted to give the world some drinkable water, and he didn't care the cost, but that didn't make it any less scary when this newly born villain, Negaduck, came breaking into the factory looking to put an end to his do gooding by pushing him off the catwalk and into a vat of the polluted water himself. Unable to fully feel or taste the pleasures of the world again, it's a sad life, but if he can do some good he doesn't care

Can you imagine, them having to fight each other but Liquidator just can't find it in him to take Reggie down??? This either means Liquidator runs when it becomes too heated, or that ends up being his downfall in the end, and Bushroot does away with him via cement bag --- that's a sad thought!! I want to believe he gets away TTuTT

Omg yes!! I always kinda envisioned them to have a bit of a one sided thing going on. Like Bushroot keeps him around mostly because he needs him for his water but Bud is really in love with him and doesn't want anything to happen to him so he sticks around even when Reggie treats him like crap. They are both still treated like freaks, which of course Bushroot doesn't like, so he always tries to get him to do evil things to people but Liqui is just too good of a guy for that. Oh god it would so break his heart if Bushroot left! I don't think he would be able to fight him but he also couldn't just betray the others. God so much angst fuel!! I so need more Negaverse now. I can't believe more people haven't done this kinda thing!!

Yessss, it's definitely a lot more one sided in the Negaverse, especially for Liquidator as he does find an interest in Bushroot, and his good nature wants to see the guy turn his back to a life of crime and fully settle in with the team. But a stubbornly silent part of him knows that that's probably not going to be the case. Bushroot's probably given the idea a thought once or twice though --- I think his nature in the Negaverse though would make him weirded out by the thought of being tied down, but knowing that Liquidator is harboring some feelings makes it easier for Bushroot to use him, as he's used to using people -- going back to how he used to experiment on other's in order to perfect his scientific discoveries!
Liquidator doesn't mind as much as Bushroot, being called a freak, as it's helped him do more good than he could have when he was originally still just a normal dog. So where main universe Liquidator is was pissed at Darkwing for dumping him into that vat by accident, perhaps this Liquidator is more thankful, but still just a little bit upset, that Negaduck had pushed him into the vat that faithful night! Definitely pisses of Negaduck, that was meant to end him, not make him stronger lmao!!
I guess the hardest thing about both Liquidator's though is finding the right type of balance for power, watching his episode, he could definitely be the most overpowered villain out there, as he really can't be hurt, and can contort himself into all sorts of shapes and sizes to escape and swing! From hard water, to scalding water, I think if he ever put to mind everything he could do with that shit he could definitely wipe out a few cities oml;;;;

Oh yes! He definitely cares about Bushroot a lot and wants to see him be happy but he's also a people pleaser so he tends to do whatever Bushroot says even if he doesn't agree with it. I imagine Nega Bushroot kind of gets attached to Liquidator more in the sense that he gets so used to having him around that he starts to care about him kind of like he would a family member but not enough to stop him from using him especially since he would probably be resistant to the idea that he cared about anyone. God their relationship would be so complicated! I can definitely see him attempting to continue his experiments though and probably using Bud to help him do that behind the others' backs.
yeah he would probably be too sweet and gentle to be as bothered by being seen as a freak, although it probably still makes him kinda sad because he just wants people to like him. That would so piss Negs off though! He tries to kill him and instead ends up making him happier because he can do more good XD

Oh yes, that is definitely the tough thing about him. He doesn't have much in the way of weaknesses which always made it seem a bit silly that he would be afraid of Negs but whatever lol. Although in some cases it seems that Megavolt actually kind of hurts him so I always kinda imagined that electricity is one of the few things he can still feel so in my head Negaduck has secret ways of using that to control him.
