If anyone has seen SU, we all know how Lars has a hard time expressing himself with people,
his anxiety often fucks up his chances of just being himself around others, there are times where I do get emotional because Rebecca Sugar made a character who deals with it on a daily basis instead of a one-time episode.

I favorite characters in the show that I can relate too
Rose who could be aromantic, someone whos clueless about love and emotions but is willing to understand
Garnet who values trust and knows loves takes a while, even if it happens to be romantic or platonic
Lars someone who struggles with social anxiety but craves for friends

but I have to say lars reminds me of my bestie x3 (the haircut :P )
