The first shipment of the resin copies have finally arrived, and will be heading to Anthrocon. This photo will be the permanent catalog photo for my website's store, so I thought I'd make the setup a little more scenic.
Really if it weren't for the wire in the tail showing through the resin, it almost doesn't need to be painted. :)

Heh, well, it all depends upon the grade of detail. I have seen highly detailed but very small figures, but also big figures with relatively little detail.
To me the bigger ones are harder, partly because I am used to smaller ones but also because those that I paint (usually wargaming minis BTW) have more... stuff on them. That makes it easier to paint because you don't have to worry about large areas, like this one has, that need an excellent paint-job to look good. Also, the bigger the figure the more inclined people are to take a closer look, something they won't do that much with smaller ones.
With that I don't mean that your figure isn't great (and yes, I am aware of how that sounds out of context ;) but it will need an equally great paint-job to match it and I am simply not sure if I can do that.
