The story is a lot more interesting that Roger Corman's usual fare. I suspect that's because it's one of Boris Karloff's last ones and one of Jack Nicholson's first. Corman could have framed some of the shots better and picked up the pace here and there. Considering this was one of 50 films in a DVD pack I bought, it was one of the better of the 50.
