This is my new cat. I picked him up from my vet earlier today. He's a one year old solid white male. He's a very loving lapcat. Even though he's only been here for about 6 hours as of this writing, he's made himself at home. I was contacted by my vet yesterday saying that his previous owner had to go to a nursing home and, if he didn't find a forever home, he was going to be put into a shelter and, knowing shelters as I do, I couldn't allow that. His name is Otis, although I may change it.

Update 6-15-21: I should have done this back in 2017 but, better late than never. I changed Otis's name to Buddy. I had to do that because he quickly showed me that he's a buddy cat. He still loves to get into my lap but he doesn't get completely into my lap. Buddy is also a lot bigger now, weightwise. I think he only weighed about 8 lbs. when I got him. Now, he weighs at least 12 lbs.

As I told Aqua-Man 3 years ago, the other cat I had when I got Buddy, died on 2/2/18. However, the following June, a neighbor found a cute little 4-week-old solid black kitten and I adopted her. Her name is Me-you and you can see photos of her in my gallery. Thanks to everyone who has added this photo to their favorites.
