Caraid and me decided to try our luck on a collaboration, and this one came out of it!
We actually started on it way back in August or September and as life has a tendency to do it threw just a bunch of stuff around that extended the time it needed to complete. A fun little thing on it's on in that way, since almost a year is quite a long time, so in a way different artists started it compared to those that finished it.
Thank you also to Caraid for a fun project like that, and the somewhat of a fanboy moment i had when getting a request for a collaboration from one of my favourite artists around here. :D

Haha, yeah not too many around if you don't count dinos (and even they are feel relatively rare given that they're dinos and you'd think they at least would be around Dragon levels of popular).
I can't remember exactly, but i think we went with a no-dinosaurs prehistoric setting specifically because it was so seldomly used.

This is awesome.
I'm going to say the same thing as I did at caraid's gallery: The mood and the texture are brilliant, and those little birds on his shoulder are a great detail. Makes him look like a force of nature, in a way: relentlessly moving towards his goal at his own pace, paying no heed to the weather or the terrain.
