A boy was with his familay as they returned form they're vacation. they were on a plane coming in for a landing. Suddenly a very loud bang was heard outside. The boy looked out his window to see that on of the engines had burst into flames! Then another loud bang came from the other wing. The whole craft began to shake and shudder as it desended towards the runway. Then a loud mechanical moan was heard beneath the passengers' feet. the Landing gear had jammed!
The Plane laned hard on it belly and slid down the runway in the darkness of night. All four engines were sheared off by the ground spraying fuel every where! The sparks from the skididng plane ignighted the fuel and caused the wings to burst into hulks of inferno! The plane then began breaking apart tumbling over itself, becoming nothing more than a mangled mass of Iron and Steel.
The boy was thrown from his seat and hit the ground, amazingly he lives. But many others though were not so furtunate. The burning hulk of the craft came to rest, the roar of the flames and the screams of the victims were defening! This went on for at least a few minutes. Then all that was heard was were the flames. Oddly even that sound began to fade.
In the distance of night the boy began to see a light, a single one and it was comming closer. Then he could hear the rythmic sound of a chuffing steam locomotive. As it came nearer he could make out some detail. The Engine was sleek and semi streamlined. It was white with gold trim and axcents. the number twelve was on the side of the cab. The cars behind were sleek with Celestorys. The whistle blew as it came to a stop. To the boy it was the most beautiful sound.
As he looked on he sawsomething that he wasn't sure to be amazed or scared out of his mind! Though the dead still lay strewn about the wreckage it appeared that their souls began to rise! Some looked confused and some looked at the gleeming train and headed towards it.
Then was heard a sharp shreek! But it sounded numatic in a way. The boy looked in a different direction and saw a deep blood red light approach. It was another train, Fire and smoke billowed from its stack. Flames whipped the ground beneath the firebox. Its chuff was deep and intimidating. Its wheels groaned and flanges squealed. As it came to rest its banshee whistle blew! The engine's number read 666 and the name on its cab was "Cerberus".
The cab had an erie green glow from within. Its literal Sckeleten crew began to crawl out like bugs. Say for the Engineer and Conductor. Both had chains over their bodies. Their clothes smoking and embers could still be seen eating away at the fabric. The Engineer looked to be in constant torment and a look of imence sorry and regret was on his face. The Conductor looked strikingly similar to Earnest Borgnein as his character "The Shack".
Men fromthe first train, dressed in white colored railroad garb lead some of the souls towards their train. Many of the skeletens jumped off and with great speed dragged the others to theirs. These souls tried to break free and head to the other train. A few did but they were not permited to board. Eventually they to were dragged back to the black and grimy looking train.
The boy stared in awe of what traspired. Soon all the souls had been collected. The Conductor of the white train pulled out a polished gold watch and looked at it. Then he looked at the Black train. The other conductor pulled out a old tainted brass watch which looked like to have been threw many fires. The conductor's hand had smoke rise off as he looked at the time. Then he looked back at the white train with a martered look. Then they both Closed their watch faces and boarded their respective trains. The white one left first and as it did faded into the night.
The Black train's banshee whistle shreaked once more. Its wheels groaned as they slowly rolled forward. The oil that dripped down the side, in its respective places, had a red hue to it. As if it were mixed with blood. Fire erupted fromthe stack as it steamed forward. The boy could see the souls in the black passenger cars clawing at the windows trying to escape. Like the white train before, it to vanished into the darkness.
They boy was amazed by the sight. Then the sounds of the wreckage returned. The boy became light headed and then passed out. Later he was found, alive, by paremedics ans saved. This moment will foever be scared in his mind.
