Based on the hand position, it looks like your character may catch that magazine upside-down. Also, in terms of real-life nonsense, I wonder if that Magpul magazine will cause any problems like it tends to do before another generation of magazines is released to fix said problems.
Regardless of that, the artist did a nice job of depicting your character and his in this scenario, and it's yet another one of his well-executed drawings.
