Well, you traced the gun OK, but well, there are a few, small problems with the design.
(1) The completely pointless metal guard would make it impossible to holster, ever.
(2) The completely pointless metal guard is attached to the clip so you could never reload the gun.
(3) The safety is so far up on the gun you would have to use both hands to lock/unlock it.
(4) The sights are to short.
(5) The completely pointless metal guard would mean the gun could only be fired by people with small hands.
(6) The completely pointless metal guard makes the gun easy to remove from your hand.
(7) The completely pointless metal guard makes your gun into a handle your enemy can use to control your arm. (Like shooting yourself much?)
(8) The completely pointless metal guard is pointless.

Sorry, I don't get back here often but I thought I would reply.
No, these are not nice things. These are truthful things. You will learn as an artist that the majority of people in the world will tell you your work is awesome even when it is complete crap. People don't like confrontation. They think they are encouraging you to continue making art. This however is a logic fallacy because they are not helping you make art they are helping you make mistakes. If you don't get true feedback from your fellow artists, hard hitting and honest, then you will never improve. In the future make sketches of your ideas. Imagine holding it in your hand, imagine the weight and the heft. Imagine the things you would do with it. Think about a project before you put it to pen.
in art 60% of success is planning ahead.
