Here's a birthday image for my dear friend, Hazard Barzard, of his characters Hazard and Panja in their "modern day" incarnations. This was my attempt at doing Panja's newer character design, which is a break from his original "Panjyamon" inspirations, because really, Panja's far beyond that now. His look will probably need tweaking to get it closer to Haz's vision, though. I was also trying some different things with lines, I like how it turned out. The background is a photo I found of somewhere in Haz's hometown.

This is just about the coolest "buddies posing" pic ever. Cool background in it, I like the subtle yet bright colors, the overall details, sweet clothes and their expressions. I like how they look different than your normal style, it shows range and variety and just plain kicks ass. I especially like how much different Panja (cool ponytail) now looks from Panjyamon, he now truly does look his unique self. An overall excellent job, Sassy. ^_^

I like how you've re-coloured the lineart, so it's not quite as harsh and blends in with the basetones.
The photographic background looks quite nice as well. I suppose it's the lazy way of adding a background, but it can work - at least if one is able to find a fitting picture to use.
Technical details aside, the white lion is pretty hot. ;D

They're a pair of seriously huggable hunks. I especially love the way you gave 'em both kind of a tophair-ish fluff 'do on top of their noggins! Gorgeous stuff as always, Sassy (now excuse me while I smack my head against the wall a few times and wish a certain golden wolf sweetie a belated HB).
