This was the first album that I ever bought with my own money and it is still one of my favourites.

It is a really good album. I know my dad loves it. He's a big Beatles fan :) like quite a serious collector and stuff.

Thanks a lot! I am not sure if I'll add more to this. Ideally I would have liked to. I am still a bit nervous about my music and how it comes across to my dad (and my family) as they have never been interested in what I love to do. My dad wasn't keen on my voice when I was younger, nor was my mum. It discouraged me a lot but I kept doing what I wanted (it wasn't easy at times).
Anyways, since it's a song he loves and he's very critical, I kind of kept it simple. Usually I would have added different stuff to it but I am unsure how he'd have liked it. Also, I was pushed for time thanks to a recurring sore throat/vocal thing that keeps stopping me from singing at my best.

I made the same mistake of being overly critical with my daughter when she wanted to sing songs written for a lover voice in her metsosoprano (that is probably spelled wrong) and it has taken years for her to get over it, with much apoligising from me for my stupidity. Now she sings to her son and is thinking of joining the local choir, and I hope she does.
