Bio:

Regal is a rather sheltered bastet. Being a metis he was born in his Crinos/Werelion form and unable to change to a human or full lion form for a few years. He was born into a rich little known noble family in Spain. His father was born as a feline that was part of the Melena family pride and his mother was born a homid/human werelion in the USA who became a wildlife doctor after her first change. The two met at a wildlife reserve that once was run by the Melena family in Africa.

After Regal's birth he was raised in Spain in the family estate with other kinfolk and relatives as stuck in a werelion form he could not leave the grounds. His mother sheltered him and tried to give him a normal life as best she could with a rapidly growing lionboy and a lazy lion as a husband. Regal living within the walls of a castle only saw the outside world through books and movies in the castle or that his mother would bring him. He became enthralled with the other cultures of the world and dazzled by the tales of superheroes and magic. Under the mentorship of a werepanther and his father he learned of the werewolves and other changing breeds. His mentor helped him develop his battle skills and morality in preparation for the dark days ahead. After his first change he was able to take a human form and join a boarding school with many kinfolk in the staff to help conceal his true nature when needed. By this time it became very apparent Regal was still strange as he was well beyond natural size even for his race. At the small school Regal continues his studies of the world'd cultures but with actual text books. In this school Regal was banned from most sports by his mentor due to needing to keep his nature hidden. He instead founded a bodybuilding club, still to his mentor's disapproval. After graduating Regal got an internship at the Museum of Natural History in New York studying archaeology in hopes of finding magical artifacts and seeing the world.

Hobbies/Habits:
-Regal likes to watch anime, usually in long marathon sessions. He is a bit of a geek and often compares real life occurrences to anime or interjects anime into situations often in battle. [Example Regal can ignite his fangs and claws with golden fire and often when he does he will quote Domon Kashu from G Gundam]
-Regal like most lions enjoys filling meals and will gorge himself silly if the opportunity presents itself.
-He has a habit of adopting stray cats and giving them a home in his Den Realm.
-Whenever he can he will stay in his werelion form as it is his natural state and he feels most comfortable in it.

Den Realm:
Regal's new york apartment actually is link to a space in the umbra plane called a Den Realm. The area he has he turned into a large european castle/mansion that is decorated with much too many lion statues. He has no servants or tenants as his budding kingdom yet but hopes to make it a refuge for change breeds and kinfolk he befriends. He just recently expanded it so it may change.
