This is simultaneously really awesome and really beautiful. The colors you used for the background give a sort of calming/awe-inspiring feel to the setting. The quills, the face, the ironwork, the ornate books, the general dimensions of the character... What I'm trying to say is that this turned out very nice indeed.

thank you very much. i do like this one. reminds me of a childrens book illustration or some character from Narnia or such. im also humored that the spell check recognizes Narnia as a proper noun and wants to capitalize it. hilarious

Yeah, Narnia! I was thinking to myself as I saw this... "Redwall"... no, it isn't quite Redwall... but I think it's feels wonderfully "Narnian".
