Rilevu is the demigod of sleep, secrets, obsession and illusion. He watches over hidden magical places, especially those that have not been seen for ages. It is said he steals places of magic away when they are not used often enough, and returns them grudgingly to those who search hard enough for them. Spell casters and adventurers in search of some long-lost treasure or magical item often make sacrifices or obeisance at his shrines.

The god of sleep, he is rumored to visit the dreams of virgin females and seduce them, although when they awake there is no evidence, so perhaps they are simply the heat-dreams of those who have not taken a lover yet. He is the patron demigod of the male seducer - the Romeo and DeBergerac type. A male who wishes the attentions of a female would be wise to make sacrifice at his shrines or at least beg his blessings.

Rilevu does not have many temples, but often you can find a shrine to him in the temples of Bast or more often, Shiryn.

Rilevu appears to mortals as a male cheshire cat, always dressed in the height of fashion and without fail in a costume that is dashing and seductive. His symbol is the new moon or cheshire smile, and he often appears to those who claim to be blessed by him in the form of a haunting cheshire smile in the darkness. That or maybe it's just the moon...

Rilevu is Neutral Good, and his domains are charm, magic, repose, rune, and trickery.
