What the hell were we thinking? It started off with a simple courier job: Take a holodisc for a buyer and get a fat 20k cap payout. Next thing you know we're getting hunted down by assassins all over trying to get the damn thing. We didn't start as friends but we were now. There were 8 of us, before. Some bat, a former enclaver, some sniperhick and then myself, Biggie, Boom, Burny, and Monochrome Stripes. The first three we lost ages ago. Boom and I had to split from the group for a few months to take care of some business. By the time we caught up with them we'd picked up an emotionally dead earth mare, an honorably stupid stallion and one of the assassins sent to kill us fell in love with Burny.
We lost track of Mutual, and Biggie's gone. It's Gauntlet's fault, everyone knows it. If he hadn't insisted that his stupid honor was more important than leaving, we never would've gotten into that fight. I already chewed him out for it, that's not gonna solve anything. That metal bitch is gonna pay
