This was the most recent and sadly last photo I took of Lincoln. It was relatively nice out in the cool New Hampshire air. My boyfriend Dave and I traveled out to visit on Friday May 5th, 2016. Outside were a series of bird feeders. Lincoln pointed out some of the power and other equipment behind the house.

Lincoln's nurse said he had not been feeling like he wanted to go outside for a while and we helped perk him out. I last visited on my birthday on May 7th. He was able to walk for short periods and I had forgotten how tall he was compared to my much shorter height. Lincoln, Dave, and I watched Trumbo for a bit.

I had brought over a few boxes of Pocky the day before. Some were from Thailand. Lincoln asked his brother living over there about what ones he had locally. A few days a huge package of Pocky was being mailed to the US.

I received a phone call on the 24th saying good bye from Lincoln. I asked him if he wanted me to head out soon after, but he said not to. On the 28th his brother and sister in NH texted me from his phone. Nearly a year and a month later I'll be speaking at his memorial.
