TBH I am just trying to be reasonable, it takes me so much time to draw a pic and I just charge that it deserve in that much time and energy. $10 in FA is almost not enough to complete a draft for most of the good artist.... and I don't know what's the situation in DA, but unless your friend is doing a kind of promotion or so on, otherwise he is going to get himself so much unfair trade and burn out himself eventually...

then good, you can keep commissioning him, since you can't tell the difference, and obviously you don't even need to enlarge a pic to see what's the difference.
but I am telling you that there is no shortcut to a good art.
first you need a good draft that have proper proportion of the body, and it needs to refined until you can't see roughness in the line;
then you need a good coloring and shading process to visualize the texture of the object,
and finally you need to do the background and aura to make it harmonize with the object.
if you think any of the above process can be done in a few hour, I am afraid you've lost me. go ask any artist that has a sense of aesthetic, he/she will tell you the same thing: no shortcut to good art.
And one more. I was just trying to be nice and tell the truth, but you keep blatter how good your friend is, like doing AD for him. I won't judge other artist's work, since it is so rude (and yes, you are judging me!). But would you please be more reasonable rather than blinded by your friendship? otherwise I am afraid I'll run out of my good temper in the next turn...... ==
