I actually had some ideas for a including Asheru.
Since I am Fan of your works for over a decade now. No worries, no face-cheek floofing xD
I had the idea of rather regular interaction between her and one of my characters. Being from far up north, Asheru might have a ton of questions about the place he originates from and how is people are.

I have met a couple. My Impression of them is that their body language is unsubtle and direct. you know exactly how they feel. They also smell like feet. Thy are curious, sometime playful, but mercurial, and not very personable to humans, especially strangers, But they are beautiful animals (at a distance).
The one I met was as subtle as an anvil. I was required to shake hands with her Human and be introduced as, "He's okay." She sniffed the Australian Cattle Dog stink off my hands (AuCaDos are about 1/8 Dingo) then turned upside down on the back seat of her truck. I rubbed her chest and tummy (I may have been devoured otherwise) and she sprang to her feet when she'd had enough. When I got back to my truck, my AuCaDo had to sniff all the Wolf stink off of me!
It depends on the wolf. I've had wolves snarling and fighting over me, scent rubbing me at the same time, and I've had wolves who wanted nothing to do with me... It depends on the individual... Wolves areas unique as people. The white wolf primarily in my gallery was an a aggressive alpha male who was drawing blood from his pack mates. Only 3 people could go in there with him, others he would dominate or bring down and force them to submit.
He was 240 lbs of muscle and some fat. I never once tried to negotiate my pack status with him, he instead submitted to me. In fact I once tried to be submissive to him by lowering my face and he refused to be above me, he lowered his face lower than mine until his face was on the ground. (this was through a fence)
He decided in his heart that he loved me, and was my friend, my brother, and my protector. I would sleep in his pen, he would share food with me (the ultimate wolf taboo, especially with an alpha) and we would wrestle fiercely.
So he was aggressive and violent with other people, but kind and empathic with me... I didn't raise him, or show him undue attention, in fact I only ever gave him "pity pets" through the fence because I felt sorry for him, being by himself due to aggression (and I always watched my fingers through the fence at first... Until we bonded and I knew he wouldn't hurt me.)
I like her face pictures here they are very feral, wild looking. I personally enjoy softer, kinder human emotions on anthros :3
