Maybe you should think about what you want a bit more before asking for it, Richard.

If you get more than one wish, you should almost always make your first wish "I wish my next wishes will be granted according to my interperetation of them". Then, assuming the wish granter is not a jerk, you can avoid the little hazards typically associated with literal-minded genies.
Usually there are 3 kinds of genies: The nice kind (think Genie from Aladdin) who are perfectly happy with granting wishes, the literalist kind that grants wishes exactly how you tell them to, whether or not that's what you wanted, and the mean kind that gives you three "wishes" that are really more or less three times he gets to screw you over. The "according to my interpretation" wish will deal with any misunderstandings from the first two, but the third kind will just use it to screw you over in even more clever ways
Here is the proposal. Read it, if you want to go for the atmosphere.
If you don't, well...
A mysterious event made visible light that the Sun emits anomalous. Any living creature that comes in contact with the said light starts to melt. The result of exposure to SCP-001 (which, in this proposal, is the Sun) is SCP-001-A, a sentient creature with a gelatinous consistency. It's only the basics, though. The document tells more. It tells about SCP-001-A amalgamations and the hororrs of the "brave new world" in both strict scientific language and prose.
I have just discovered this proposal after YouTube recommended me a video titled "Do not look up", which is basically an EAS warning clip based off either this proposal (called "When Day Breaks") or this story (called "When Night Falls"). They are similar to each other, although some fundamental differences can be seen.
