I hadn't really planned on doing anything this weekend, but when this idea popped into my head, I changed my mind ^_^
I tried a few new things on this one (nothing all that significant, so I won't bother going into any detail), and I like how it came out :D...except his right hand looks incredibly flat... and as always, I didn't use any reference pics. I really need to break that habit XD
anyway, this fuzzy fellow is a new character I made up recently. He goes by the name of Kenai (don't ask, I just like the way it sounds ^_^). There isn't much to him when it comes to detail in the fur (all brown), but I don't care. A character shouldn't be interesting solely because of his or her looks. As for information about him, I haven't put all too much thaught into it. I have decided that he is an artist and he doesn't like being restricted to a small sheet of paper :) ... I like his hoodie :3
I used watercolors, some colored pencils, and microns (though, I tried to put less emphasis on the outlines). I didn't do an undercoat of acrylic this time.
My first time drawing a landscape (sort of) in a while. How'd I do? And I know that the grasson the right side of the picture makes the perspective look all weird, but the grass is supposed to be on a hill X(
XD It kinda reminds me of Detroit.
