Speedpaint commission for autumn_sunrise, featuring their wolf character Autie. I was given a lot of creative freedom with this piece so I decided to enjoy myself with the mood :).

Thank you very much! Not yet, but nearly! You can have a look at my status here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7634821/ and my prices here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7634821/
My regular full colors take about 15 hours at minimum usually, and they include at least two opportunities for the client to choose (several sketches first, then several color options) and provide feedback, as well as updates throughout the process. Speedpaintings are both less refined and include no in-between communication, which allows me to be much faster with them.
I actually noticed the similarities when I first started seeing your character around and pointed it out to Autie, this particular character's owner, myself. We remarked about how a lot of people can design very different characters with very similar coloration and markings. Autie's character has been around various parts of the fandom for nearly 20 years now. ^^
Seconded, with feeling. It not only nails who I think Autie is, it extends and develops it – it changes my perspective. (Though I'll still mostly think of Autie as a four-pawed critter, because that's a better way to be. *wag*)
On a separate note, I do hope there's good hunting in that landscape. Autie looks hungry.

I don't mean this in disrespect, but do you happen to have this piece without the character in it? It's not because I dislike it - it's a wonderful work, but I rather like lonely stormscapes and would love to use a tree/background version as a screensaver. Great artwork altogether though, you got yourself a new follower!
