I used a gradiant. Initially I was going to do just purple, but when I asked Fred about colors he suggest purple, or maybe blending to blue, so I tried it as blue and purple, and then as a gradient going from blue to purple, and stuck with the latter. The bottom has the same gradient, but it appears just as purple for some reason.
