PROCESS
Marksaline is made from mahogany and crimson minky.
She is 27" tall to crown and 32" to the tip of her horn. Her eyes, horn, hair, emblems and shoes were embroidered with a Bernina 830LE embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software and feature gradients. The eyes were digitised by me. Her pattern was also designed by me. Her legs, neck and tail have padded armature for strength.
COMMENTS
Was awesome to get to work on such a spooky bab! I loved working on her regalia, it really let me experiment with some new techniques for making them like patches with clean satin stitched edges. I used over 1 whole large spool of thread for all that satin stitching in her hair, it was probably 6-8 hrs of embroidery time for the hair alone :O.
I remade her entire body (embroidered, sewn, armature and stuffing) twice, her head 5 times, her tail twice (each tail took a whole day) and her horn twice.
