A chibi of Jehryn! :D
I haven't drawn him in a long while and I had gotten markers to better do his colours a few months back. I think they work much better. And will help when I redo his ref.
I wonder what he's planning. I bet it's nothing good.
Jehryn belongs to me! Do not use or alter.

*Not* really worth your time.
The abridged series is better, but I think that you'll appreciate that better if you waste hours of your life on the subpar anime that is SAO.
That is to say... even though it's not a good anime, it's somehow still enjoyable to watch? But I hate it at the same time. Weird, yeah? ;o

I didn't really do much to learn at first, I just grabbed my markers one day, sick of not using them (I had bought them a few years before and was too intimidated) and just started practicing on my own. That was only about a year ago, around when I first joined FA, so I'm still relatively new to them :) I always used coloured pencils before and just learned with them generally the same way.
Great ways to learn are things like YouTube tutorials and the official copic site has some too I believe, it's here: https://imaginationinternationalinc.com/copic/
There's also a cool tutorials site that specializes in copics, but also helps for other mediums like coloured pencils and other alcohol marker brands here: https://copicmarkertutorials.com
Those helped me in between learning by myself ^^
Thanks for asking!

Copics are so expensive, but I can do colouring pencils. I think that, unless you're a master at shading in pencil, traditional art -- and even digital art -- gets overlooked if there's not colour.
So... I should get back into it!
Honestly, I have a *little* bit of experience with colouring pencils, but I always find it really difficult to blend them & also to get the right texture? ;-;
Always seems too rough to me ;_;
Anyway, thankies ^_^

They are pretty pricey, but they're the cheapest marker to maintain overall. Since the refills are so cheap and last so long. And the quality is well worth it ^^ it's just about getting the money in the first place. Personally I got my first 72 starter pack of copics using the money I saved in a change jar. Whatever works right? XD
I sadly agree, I too notice that a lot of people overlook any medium in black and white. Which is a shame because some of the nicest pieces I've ever seen were just pencil sketches!
Definitely have a go at it! And please feel free to ask if you need any help with your coloured pencils.
Smoother paper helps, but not too smooth if that makes sense? Then with a sharp pencil colour lightly ish and slowly for the first layer, then add a second darker layer overtop. That helps it smooth out. Then add shading ^^
My art teacher from high school always gave the advice to make sure you don't go too hard for too long, because you don't want to crumple and polish the paper.
I hope that helps!
Anytime Hun ^^ I'm here to help.
