This is really nice. I know I was surprised when I first saw him after his cancer had returned. He showed me his tumor and I was concerned but I hoped it would improve and that he'd be with us many more years. After he went into care I know I called him a few times, I tried to keep in touch as much as possible. Shrag and I sent him a card, it made me wish I still lived up there so I could visit more.
He was always a good friend and I have nothing but fond memories of him. He was a great person and a wonderful asset to the fandom and the world. He will be missed.
