Omg, he's adorable okay. Back when I got my first two balls, designer morphs were still through-the-roof expensive (I'm talking like 400 for plain spinners and such), so I just have a normal and a pastel aha. Hopefully I'll get a few morphs later on - I'm a sucker for light/pastel snakes.
But yeah, I can totally understand (and way commend) the decision to wait/gather experience - I had my first corn for three years before I got another snake aha. The rep world needs more people like you!

Mm it's such a nice thing to be able to say that a snake isn't headshy - my pastel is super laid back, he was totally okay with having his lips and head touched/etc. My normal female on the other hand was a rescue that had been starved/eaten by a mouse, and while it took her a lot longer, she's made a full circle and now is one of those snakes that you can let even the smallest of children interact with. Balls are just great that way <3 I have a boa as well, and tbh, while she's amazing, she'll never compare personality-wise to my bps.
But yesss, I worked at a rep store for a while and legit would watch people wander to the balls (many times children), discuss, go pick up a book from the rack next to the tanks, read a bit, and start gathering up things. I was just??? Do you know how irresponsible?
