Heh, well yes I've been spending FAR too much time on the internet lately. I admit I did enjoy Gin's series, but Weed had a weaker personality to me. He didn't work for any of his abilities, not even the doggy pinwheel of doom (he magically knew it). It took his Dad several attempts to get even a half-assed Battouga right.

Yea. I've heard Orion will be the opposite of his father thankfully, and Gin is practically a god. I have no idea what he was thinking when Weed was made. I guess he made him at like 3 in the morning or something.

he woke up .alright. i think i'l make a new character. but what could he be like. yoshi switches on tv. only to see barney the dinosaur singing i love you. THATS IT! I SHALL MAKE HIM A SISSY. and yoshi phoned his agent and discussed the new character. and within a month the manga was develope and folliwing that with a series. fans will love this new character. fans are all hyped to see what the new character is like. expecting him to beawsome. instead. this. is there reaction...............................................................................i want gin back.....me too. yeah me too. and befroe you know it fans are outraged that gin has been taken hostage for the rest of the series and were stuck with this tree hugger. well at least the other characters were okay. aside from illing off most ofthe original cast but ah well. transformers done the same with rodimus prime. and yoshi had now done the same with ginga. anyway. hope to see orion anime soon:)

In all honesty, the anime itself butchered the manga, rendering it useless for future production of anime. Unless they further twist it, which would make me repeatedly kick the animators/plot design people in the nuts.

But Weed was badass in the manga.
Sure, more in a more peaceful, easy-going way. And no one can top Riki or Gin.

But at least he had a more, "steadfast, strong" character personality in the manga.
In the anime, he was all, "LOL HOUGEN IGIVEWS U FLOWERS LOLOLOLOL"

I definitely liked him better in the manga. If that's the way everyone knew him I wouldn't say I hate him so much, but since 90% of GDW fans cannot read Japanese and therefore only know him by the anime that's the personality I use.

Yeah.. that was a horrible anime.
It was drawn so bad that I almost had to stop watching it. I got used to it after the 4th episode though, and just laughed and shook my head, instead. >>
