An idea that popped into my head a while ago for part of a backstory for my Irken OC character Nendra.
Her story is basically, she was experimented/tested/dissected/Operated on countless times since the day she was made in her Gestation tube in the empire. They tried to make her into a 100% loyal brain washed controlled Bio weapon!!

She actually developed affection for 2 people, 1 was a male Irken boy being Bio weaponized with her and he unfortunately died in the process during a dangerous testing, which broke the final mental straw for her and blew the lab facility she was in to kingdom freakin come.

But before she escaped and befriended her fellow bio weapon, she had dreams and flashes of a female Irken, caring for her and visiting her tube very often and watching her through the observatory glass during subject studies. It was her biological mother, but she didn't know that she just knew her as the Nice Whitecoat.
Her DNA was used to engineer Nendra and she unexpectedly developed maternal instincts for her little half clone. She disappeared shortly after Nendra was integrated into a facility with other Bio Weapons, and was treated much more like a weapon than a living being.

This picture is a WIP of her eventually finding her "mom" after having a few weeks of memory flashes and dreams. Her Theater friends help her find her mom and bring her with them. Noname for the mom yet though.

A song from the movie SING actually gave me the idea for this little Back story tid bit, and I love it every time I hear it, like a mother and daughter duet -^^-
