
A not-yet-completely-hardened/darkened female harlequin roach/Neostylopyga rhombifolia. I love the orange look they have in this stage, but it only lasts about an hour, tops.

Good grief, that's a pretty insect! I might not like having them wandering around my house (just wigs me to feel one crawling on me while I'm asleep), but I find them pretty things. There's a rich, shiny black species that lives oustide in my area that looks so cool... I thought they were crickets, at first, until I got a closer look at them- nope, they's roaches.
