"No tricks! Just boost me up, Rip. I'm going to teach those guys a lesson."
"Make me proud, sweetcheeks! Bless and protection coming right up."
"Yeah... Uh. Why does this spell smell so funny?"
It smells funny (and the colours remind me of a hawaii shirt) because I tried colouring my stuff with Painter again. That's a fun program.
Anyway, here's a pic of Ripkin and Malek - probably appearing as unwated guests in some poor sod's wedding party. My guess is that they're going to sabotage the buffet table and kidnap the priest.

Ripkin would love to think of himself as a gentleman, that's for sure. He can be suave and well-mannered if he wants to. He also has a lot of money and he's picky about many things - but if you ask me he's still a just a dirty little skank. And he treats other people like trash. 9_9
Oh, and Malek is of noble blood too! His father was an Andorfian knight. Compared to him Rip's just a tramp. ^_^
Eh, sorry about all this babbling. I easily get carried away when talking about my chars. Btw, any chance we could try OCing at some point even though the last tries were a bit unsuccessful?

ahh, heh, no wonder his armor looks so fancy, and ripkin just has a simple robe
and nonono, I like hearing about them ^^ I mean, I started this conversation ^^
Sure =) I'm still very much looking forward to it, we could try on friday, I could try and get on around 3 PM my time, which I think is 11 PM your time (me being US central time, so correct me if I'm wrong)

That sounds cool. I'll write this date on my forehead so I'll be sure to remember it! I'll keep my ICQ running on friday. ^_^
I got OC installed on my new computer and it seems to be running smoothly. My firewall settings have changed since our last test session, but hopefully we can get it to work.

I guess it depends entirely on how handsome and allowing the said priest is. ;O
I also find Painter very scary. Especially because it tends to crash unexpectedly. But otherwise it's good when it comes to blending colours and shading. I have no idea what all the buttons do, but it's a fun toy.

Yeah, I know what you mean. There are so many ways of colouring digitally it can be hard to choose one style let alone excel in it.
I usually first shade with a soft brush, then fool around for a while and just before merging the layers I add some sharper shading in hopes that the pic would look better that way. ^_^;;

Hmmm... Good question. Maybe the fight would end in a close tie? Malek always very stubbornly fights to the death (funny thing, so far he hasn't died), but if the scene gets too steamy Ripkin might trip him into a conjured teleport field.
As far as I remember, they haven't yet faced a horde of pirates. It would be an all new challenge. ^_^

Flintlock guns... Hmmm nope, especially Malek is a total dimwit when it comes to any gunpowder-powered weapons. Ripkin however has fired a primitive gnomish musket once or twice. In theory he knows how such things work, but he has little experience using them. Your pirates would have an advantage there. =)
